Biography

 

Gina Breeze is based in Manchester, a city influential in the shaping of modern day House music.

 

Made a resident DJ at the fabulous and legendary SpeedQueen club night early in her career, her love of House Music blossomed, Gina gained great support culminating in an invitation to play on the G-Stage at the world-famous Glastonbury Festival.

 

2014 saw Gina invited to play at the ever growing Parklife Festival and the Mixmag Residents arena at Creamfields.

 

Her BEATNIK residency at Joshua Brooks has seen Gina grace the turntables alongside some of the industry heavyweights including Phil Weeks, Yousef, Anëk, Eli & Fur and Shenoda to name but a few. 2013 also brought Gina a new form of appreciation by winning the Parklife Festival Producer Competition. Gina beat off over 300 entries with her own killer track ‘Don’t Stop’ The track was chosen by three names synonymous with house music, Heidi, Eats Everything, and Jackmaster adding confidence to any new music producer.

 

The track was snapped up by Layers, an Italian Record Label who are focusing on infectious house beats. 'Don't Stop' received support from Him_Self_Her & Kerri Chandler. 

 

In 2015 still producing under 'MissB' - Gina had her 1st E.P released with NYC's Get Up Recordings! This saw a remix from label boss Christy Love & a dark techno rework from Dr. Sleep

 

2016 so far has seen Gina Breeze support Hannah Wants on tour. Playing alongside artists such as Monki, Friends Within & Sam Divine.

 

The end of 2016 saw Gina’s international debut, playing a late night basement set for Lady Fag’s event at 11:11, East Village, New York City. 

 

Gina is honoured to have become part of the HomoElectric team, after her debut gig at Antwerp Mansion. Playing alongside Manchester legends and Residents Will Tramp! & Jamie Bull, as well as guests, Raff Daddy, Alinka & Shaun J. Wright & Krysko to name a few.

 

2017 so far has seen Gina play at the magical Toil Trees stage at the one and only Beat-Herder festival. Debut set at Barbarellas in Croatia for Lost Disco festival is planned for summer 2017.

 

You will find Gina playing regularly at Manchester’s newest and most stunning hotspot, The Refuge. Look out for Gina at Come As You Are street parties and basement raves curated by the Unabombers that are set to shake Manchesters electronic music scene.

 

Gina is working hard in the studio on new music & has releases planned throughout this year. Look out for a majorly exciting E.P dropping around September this year.
